Snapper season opened this week, while fish was good I would not call it great. Why you may ask after it being closed for so long, well that is all due to the season opening right on time with the full moon. This definitely limited the action but this coming week should be very good right after the moon. The same goes for the rest of the bottom fishing.
Trolling for kings has been a very early and a very late bite with the full moon also.
Offshore for Wahoo, Dolphin and tuna has been good from the South edge out to the Nipple. White and Blue marlin have been good from the Nipple to the Spur and at night the swordfish have been good near the Spur. HalfHitch
