Navarre Pier Fishing Report
King Mackerel, Spanish, pompano, redfish, whiting, and the occasional flounder are available on the pier this week. Most of the kings have been caught on live cigar minnows or live threadfins, although a growing number of anglers have been having a lot of success using Rapala’s Xtreme action slash baits, Yo-Zuri’s crystal 3D minnows, and Bombers Super Pogy crank baits. Just make sure you use a short steel leader or it could get very expensive very quick when the bite is hot.
