This site seems pretty dead but I'll give it a try! I'll be in Destin in mid October with my 16 ft R160 and I'm hoping to do some productive fishing. Going outside doesn't appear to be safe for a 16 ft boat so I'll be fishing the backwaters. With regards to inshore fishing, it appears I'd be mainly targeting Sea Trout (not Weakfiesh), Stripers, Redfish and maybe (not red) Snappers? I'm just wonder which of these are most abundant in October (if any!)? Also, not looking for anyone to give up their hot spots but if you can point me to where the grass flats are that would be helpful. And yes, I respect all fishing regulations.
