Inshore/Bay

King mackerel is the hot ticket right now. Trolling cigar minnows (dead or alive) and plugs just 3 to 4 miles out is good for a catch of the long silver fish. Spanish mackerel are still showing up in the harbor, just outside the pass and in the bay. Spoons and duster rigs work well. Anglers are still catching speckled trout on the grass flats in the bay, as well as redfish near the Destin bridge, jetties and Coast Guard station.
