Inshore/Bay
Spanish, Spanish and more Spanish mackerel are showing up in the harbor, just outside the pass and in the bay. Spoons and duster rigs work well. King mackerel showed up on the scene last week and in a big way. They are being caught between 3- and 4-miles out trolling cigar minnows (dead or alive) and plugs.
Anglers are still catching speckled trout on the grass flats in the bay, as well as redfish near the Destin Bridge, jetties and Coast Guard station. Courtesy of The Destin Log
