I will be down for the week of Thanksgiving; was wondering what fish typically bite this time of year. Also, are piers any good this time of year?

The destin bridge is always good theres always fish on the grass flats and plenty of bait to catch, right now i mostly catch redfish, specled trout ,and flounder. Remember small hooks catch more fish. Use shrimp cut dead or live (better)

Anywhere near the coast guard station (northside) of the bridge is good for bluefish and spanish macks in the evenings. Just watch for fish boil. You can get something called a "mackerel tree rig" from half hitch for like 7 bucks. Those usually work pretty good, Just cast it as far as you can, and reel it back in then repeat till you have a good catch. But I agree with using live, and cut bait too.
