I have a couple of relatives that are staying for a week in late May. My first question is whether they could hope for any success using a canoe or inflatable boat in the bay. I can loan them the gear but they would need to be able to put in close to a good grass bed for some good trout fishing I would guess
They would probably be happy if they could hook some small sharks from shore. Would the bridges or beach be a possibility for this? We have the gear if the fish are available
Sometimes it isn't worth trying to do your own thing in a week. tks

Welcome,
May is one of the hottest months of the entire year for sharks so yes I recommend throwing out some bait from shore, even better yet booking a 4-8 trip and bringing up a large bull, hammer, nurse shark.
The canoe would be good back in the protected bayous or flats at the time for trout and reds for sure..
